Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

- Issue new orders

- Plan shipments including creating and updating shipping schedules

- Monitor shipments in transit, follow-up, tracking and tracing, problem identification and timely resolution

- Prepare documentations (Purchase Orders, BOLs, Invoices)

- Troubleshoot any logistical issues that arise

- Prepare reports on logistics performance measures

- Maintain a logistics database

- Manage inventory

- Act as a point of contact for suppliers, brokers, and carriers

- Provide customer service

Job Qualifications:

- Supply chain and logistics education an asset

- Previous logistics experience an asset

- Customer service experience an asset

- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines

- Strong prioritizing and multitasking skills

- Detail-oriented

- Self-starter

- Excellent problem-solving ability

- Thrives under pressure

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Excellent oral and written in English

- Oral Chinese an asset, not required

- Proficiency with computer and Keyboarding Skills required (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP)

Job Location: 6430 Kennedy Rd Unit B, Mississauga, ON L5T 2Z5

Shift Time: 9:00 am ~ 5:00 pm (7.5 hours)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

vacation pay 4% + holiday pay after one month of full-time shifts
