Kamiya Hairdressing is currently seeking skilled and experienced stylists and assistants for their three locations in Toronto. Below is an in-depth overview of the roles and what you should consider when applying.

Job Requirements

★ Stylist

• At least 3 years of experience as a stylist

• Must have a valid visa to work in Canada (e.g., Working Holiday Visa, Student Visa, Work Permit, etc.)

★ Assistant

• Experience working at a salon

• Must have a valid visa to work in Canada (e.g., Working Holiday Visa, Student Visa, Work Permit, etc.)

Working Hours & Holidays

• Full-time: 4-5 days a week, 40-50 hours

• Part-time: 2-3 days a week

Vacation requests are flexible. You can apply for 2 to 4 weeks.

Base Salary

★ Stylist

Commission: 40% of sales + all tips + holiday pay + vacation pay 4% (6% after 5 years of employment)

The commission rate can increase to 42-45% based on your client base, sales, and skills.

Support for work permits may be provided in the future, depending on experience and performance

★ Assistant

Hourly Pay: Starting from the minimum wage in Ontario

We currently have three locations in Toronto, all of which are hiring stylists. The specific location will be decided after the interview.
